Trip : Grand Palace Bangkok -> Wat Pho -> Golden Mount -> Khao san Road

Welcome!! to our first trips ,”One day Bangkok city tour”. We should start at the morning, first place we will go to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaeo.
The most enjoyable route is to take the BTS Skytrain to Taksin Station. From here take a Chao Phraya River Express boat to Tha Chang Wang Luang Pier(N9). It is a short walk from the pier to the entrance to The Grand Palace public entrance. more picture
The second alternative route, by bus routes 1, 3, 12, 25, 44, 47, 53, 60, 82, 91, 501, 508 and tell busman “Wat Phra Kaeo”. I recommend you should take the bus routes on Saturday and Sunday Only! , because Bangkok has traffic-jam on weekday.
Next, at the exit gate of the Grand Palace, you should turn left to Maharat Road. Walk along this road you will see Wat Pho on your left.
You should exit Wat Pho at gate which sell ticket, then turn right along Tai Wang Road and turn left to Sanam Chai Road. When you see the Saranrom Park , cross the road, you will see the Grand Palace on your left and Saranrom Park on your right.
Turn right to Kanlayanamaitri Road at Ministry of Defence (a big yellow building) walk straight along the road.
You will pass Chang Rongsi Bridge.
Go straight to Bamrung Mueang Road, you will see the Giant Swing and Wat Suthat on your right.
Next, you will go to Golden Mount by walk straight along Bamrung Mueang Road. You will pass intersections 3 times.

Turn left at third intersection and walk along Boriphat Road, the Golden Mount is on your right. more picture
After, turn right on exit gate of Golden Mount, walk along the road. You will see the Long-Tailed Boat Pier (Phan Fa Pier can go to Pratunam Shopping Center) on your right and Mahakan Fort on your left. You should turn left and cross the road to Wat Ratchanatdaram and Mahachetsadabodin Pavilion Ground which on your left. more picture
Then walk along Ratchadamnoen Avenue you will pass Democracy Monument and 14th October Memorial. At Khok-Wua junction, turn right into the small street you will see Khao San Road on your left.
Finally, at the end of Khao San Road you should turn right at the junction. You will pass police station on your right. more picture
Walk along this road and turn left at next junction into Soi Rambuttri. (Soi Rambuttri is short cut to Phra Athit Road.)
Turn left along the way, turn right and turn right again. Then walk straight about 50 meters , the Bang Lampu Pier is on your left. The express boat service close about 7:00 P.M..
